Hausradio live - Über WUT on Rage
Unterstützt vom Haus der Kulturen der Welt und der MABB produzieren Next Interkulturelle Projekte und die Klubradio GmbH eine Live-Sendung zur Eröffnung des Programms ÜBER WUT.
Diese Sendung wird am 14.03. von 18-19 Uhr live auf Alex-Berlin UKW 97,2 MHz und via Internet übertragen.
Kiwi Menrath und Stefanie Alisch zeigen 12 jungen Radioenthusiasten wie es geht. Von Donnerstag bis Sonntag lernen sie das Handwerk, interviewen Künstler und Kuratorinnen, berichten von der Ausstellungseröffnung und geben Einblicke über die Wut in der Stadt. Mit dabei ist DJ-anes.

Diana McCarty sprach in einer Livesendung auf Herbstradio 99,1 MHz am 26.02. mit der Kuratorin der Ausstellung Über WUT -On Rage, Valerie Smith, Dr. Susanne Stemmler und Cordula Hamschmidt vom Haus der Kulturen der Welt.
Gibt es eine neue „Kultur der Wut“ in den gegenwärtigen Krisen- und Ausnahmezuständen ökonomischer und politischer Art? Wie ist diese Wut zukunftsweisend auszutragen?

Die Kuratorin Honor Hager führte uns einmal rund durch “Future Obscura”. Wir sprachen mit ihr über die Zukunft der Medienkunst und die Archäologie medialer Gedächtnismaschinen, wie sie bspw. die Künstler Julius von Bismarck und Zilvinas Kempinas in der Transmediale-Ausstellung präsentieren.

The “klubradiopiloten” are pleased to announce that Herbstradio is back on air with Kinofunk! For the 28 days of February, Berliners can once again tune into 99.1 FM for the best of art, culture, music, discussions and, of course, events. With a strong focus on the Berlinale Film festival and film, Herbstardio Kinofunk will bring the best of Berlin straight to your good old radio. Over 200 Berlin based artists, DJS, filmmakers, writers and underground heroes will fill the airwaves 24/7. From the high culture of Hebbel am Ufer and the House of World Cultures to the independent cinemas like Brotfabrik and Babylon, Kinofunk covers it all. Music from Clubs, bars and assorted scenes keeps it interesting: WMF, Maria, SO36, Freudenhaus and Ausland just to name a few. Events like Transmediale & Club Transmediale are also featured, along with a cooperation with the London based artist run radio, Resonance FM.
This one month broadcast is part of a bigger plan to realize Herbstradio as an 11 month event radio demonstration - with a focus on temporary and ongoing cultural life in Berlin. You, the public can join in: send us tips on events, call in to join discussions, or even better, make a donation to make it all possible. Special thanks to the Medienanstalt Berlin Brandenburg (MABB) for granting this one month permission (and hopes for a permanent free cultural radio in Berlin!).
Herbstradio Kinofunk is an event radio covering the Berlinale (11th-21st Feb) initiated by the Glashaus e.V., known to most as the Kino Brotfabrik, in cooperation with the Radiopiloten and Klubradio Ltd. The “Klubradiopiloten” realize and coordinate the program from two studios - Lottumstrasse (Prenzlauerberg) and the Haus der Kulturen der Welt (Tiergarten).

Akeem Lasisi - Poetry Performer und Journalist aus Lagos/Nigeria
Thabo Thindi von AfricAvenir im Gespräch mit Akeem Lasisi.
Akeem Lasisi, Poet, Journalist und zweifacher Gewinner des ANA / Cadbury Preises für Poesie, hat in Lagos Literatur studiert und ist Chefkorrespondent der Kunstredaktion von THE PUNCH, Nigerias meistgelesener Zeitung. Sein literarisches Werk umfasst dichterische Tribute an den ermordeten Autor und politischen Aktivisten Ken Saro-Wiwa (Iremoje: Ritual Poetry for Ken Saro-Wiwa, 2000), Innovationen oraler Yoruba Dichtung und Hochzeitspoesie (Ekun Iyawo: The Bride’s Chant, 2001) und Poesie-Bände (Post Mortem, 1999, Eleleture, 2009).

Imagetransfer Berlin-Kapstadt: Ein Austausch von Bildern
„Fotografiere das, was Du uns zeigen möchtest!“, war die Bitte an Menschen aus den Kapstädter Townships, die zum Teil die ersten Fotos ihres Lebens machten. Mit diesem Anliegen und einer Vielzahl gebrauchter Kameras im Gepäck ist Marcus Vogel im Juli 2009 nach Kapstadt gereist. Zurück in Berlin sind die ausdruckstarken Dias zur Basis außergewöhnlicher Polaroid-Kunst geworden.
